We at Edify Therapy and Counseling are specialized in treating individuals, couples, and families. Above all, we follow the ethics and guideline regulations of the American Counseling Association.
Individual Therapy is a broad term, meaning that this type of therapy can apply to many we have already learned about. Positive Psychology, EMDR, CBT, IFS, and more can all be provided through Individual Therapy. So, how do these sessions work?
During Couples Counseling we observe how the pair interacts with each other and how they express (or don't express) their emotions. We guide the couple towards their goals and towards realizing things about each other that they hadn't before.
This particular approach to therapy allows both a parent and therapist to focus on the client to help them overcome obstacles. Some of these include listening issues, rebellious behavior, poor school performance, ADHD, and more.
